Explore Walsh Crawlspace and Structural Repair: our origins, values, and commitment to quality services that protect your home’s foundation.
At Walsh Crawlspace & Structural Repair, our people are the heart of our success. Founder Joe Walsh leads with vision and purpose, supported by Mary Tursch, our dedicated office manager, and Samuel Parks, who shapes our brand with creativity and precision.
In the field, our expert foremen and their crews bring unmatched skill and commitment to every project, ensuring each crawl space meets Walsh’s high standards and NC/SC code.
Together, our team combines passion, expertise, and integrity — delivering excellence from the ground up. With every project, we work not just to repair, but to protect the homes and families who trust us.
Walsh Crawlspace and Structural Repair is a trusted leader in crawlspace repair, foundation stabilization, and encapsulation across Charlotte, the Triad, and beyond.
Our story began when founder Joe Walsh, then a contractor and home builder in the Carolinas, noticed a critical gap: while homes above ground received expert care, crawlspaces and foundations were often neglected. The turning point came in year 2015 during a renovation, when Joe uncovered severe rot, warped joists, and heavy mold — with no specialists to call.
That moment sparked the mission behind Walsh Crawlspace: to protect the most vulnerable part of every home with integrity, expertise, and care. Starting with a single location in Charlotte, Joe grew the company into a trusted partner across the region.
Today, Walsh remains committed to one vision: restoring and protecting homes from the ground up.
At Walsh Crawlspace and Structural Repair, our mission is simple: transform every crawlspace and leave every client confident in the work we do. We believe in building lasting value through trust, transparency, and authentic care.
Instead of quick fixes or unnecessary add-ons, we focus on solutions that truly fit your needs and back our services up with warranties that protect your home for years to come.
Our values are as solid as the foundations we repair: integrity, quality, and a commitment to your peace of mind. With every project, we aim not just to meet expectations, but to exceed them.

Samuel Parks, our Marketing and Branding Manager at Walsh Crawlspace & Structural Repair, brings both fresh energy and a strategic vision to our team. Although Sam is a new addition to the Walsh family, he began his journey with us in the crawlspace, working hands-on as a helper before transitioning into a role that would shape our brand and outreach. With a strong background in marketing, branding, and business development, Sam was quick to recognize the potential for growth within our company’s presence. Now, he leads our efforts in enhancing the Walsh brand and building connections with clients and the community, always striving to bring Walsh’s mission to life. Sam’s unique combination of hands-on experience and creative insight allows him to effectively communicate our values and services, ensuring our message is as strong as our foundation work.
Prior to Joe starting Walsh Crawlspace and Structural Repair, he focused on residential remodels and new construction. While doing remodels, Joe realized most crawlspaces were in horrific condition and homeowners didn’t know who to turn to besides a handyman; which in turn led to a lot of repairs not being done correctly and to code. The limited number of companies that specialize in crawlspaces was glaringly apparent and Joe wanted to make a difference in the industry.
Mary runs the show at Walsh Crawlspace & Structural Repair . She wears many hats for the company and does an absolutely incredible job keeping the schedules organized, talking to and finalizing proposals for customers, and is the friendly voice on the phone that everyone talks to. She’s well versed in the crawlspace and structural repair business even though she doesn’t physically work in the field. You’ll find she’s just as knowledgeable with the business as any of our lead foreman! Mary is an incredible baker, often bringing in delicious treats to the office that unfortunately don’t last very long! She also enjoys knitting and volunteering in her free time.
Trey has been with Walsh Crawlspace & Structural Repair from the beginning. Much like Jaime Castillo, our lead estimator and supervisor, Trey had an extensive framing background before coming on board with Walsh Crawlspace. He worked his way up from a helper to a Lead Foreman and Superintendent. Trey not only has his own crew and jobs assigned to him but he also oversees and answers questions from our other team leaders.

I had a very positive and pleasant experience with Walsh Crawlspace & Structural Repair. Everyone was very professional and friendly from Mary in the office to Chris who came out and did the inspection to the guys that came on site to perform the work. They answered all of my questions and explained things thoroughly. I was informed by my pest control company that my crawlspace had a high moisture reading and that there was mold. I had a vapor barrier installed and a dehumidifier plus a few other services like a mold wash to remove all the mold that was already there. Very happy with the work. I highly recommend.Posted on Tony WhiteTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our beam was replaced and the vapor barrier installed in a very efficient manor!
